Employment Practices

While the internet and other technologies have dramatically changed the employment process over the last twenty years, the personal nature of the hiring process has remained an important element.  There has always been debate over certain practices of both job seekers and employers.  This long time interested is being rejuvenated by issues like “helicopter parents,” “Facebook and MySpace,” an increased focus on ethics, and new strategies being used by both candidates and employers in the process.

There are two components to this research:

  • Research with Human Resource Professionals.
  • Research with College Students (Undergraduate and Graduate).
