HR “Thought” Surveys
Introducing a new survey format, intended to measure the “thoughts” of HR professionals on a number of significant issues. Most of these surveys will be small samples of HR professionals, quickly surveyed, to provide insights for further discussion and consideration.
HR Tracking Thought Survey #1 - “Ten Management Practices to Axe”
In February, 2010, Liz Ryan published an excellent article for Business Week entitled “Ten Management Practices to Axe.” The practices were directly or very closely related to HR policies and practices. I surveyed 25 HR professionals preparing for the SHRM Certification exams on their “agreement” with Liz Ryan’s criticisms.
